Pipeline is Lifeline
You are responsible for the stores pipeline just as much as a salesman is responsible for their own. Read that again. As a sales manager you have to maintain the health of the stores pipeline. The only difference is the scale of the pipeline. Are your processes that you have maximizing its pipeline? Are you letting deals fall through the cracks due to your lack of attentiveness? Remember Pipeline is the Lifeline. In order to maintain a pipeline, you must have clear and concise goals. Do you want 200 vehicles? How is my leadership going to help me get to that goal? It's not enough just spouting a goal. You must have a plan of action for you and your sales team. A blueprint if you will, for them to follow. This being said, lead your success by leading your team.
